I'll start by saying my name is Robin. I was born in Arizona, moved to New Mexico and lived there till I was 15. My family then moved back to Arizona. We moved around a couple of times but always stayed in AZ. I have always been the shy, reserved kind of person. I dont speak up often and usually keep to my self. In High School I met the boy who would become my husband, Logan. Neither of us thought the relationship would last longer then a week, but here we are going on 10 years together. I had just turned 18 when we got together and he was still 15. Hahaha! He turned 16 shortly after we hooked up. He sure loves to tell the story of the age difference to people.
After we were both out of High School, we got an appartment/duplex together and sometime after that we talked about buying our own house. We found a cute little house on a nice slice of land. We moved forward and bought it. During the purchasing process, Logan proposed to me. Of course, I said yes. We moved in and got our new lives set up. I can lie and pretend every thing was glitter and rainbows but to be truthful, about 6 months after the proposal I guess I freaked out about the commitment and we separated. I moved out. A couple months later I found out I was pregnant and moved to live with my parents. At this time Logan and I decided to try to work things out. He would drive 7 hours every few weeks to see me and I'd do the same to see him. Things were going great! We welcomed our first child, a girl, July 2nd, 2008. We named her Elisabeth Quinn-Maxine and we call her Ellie. Miss Ellie was born at 36 weeks and was very small, only 5 lbs 8 oz! But she was very healthy other wise. A couple weeks after her birth, Mommy, Baby and Daddy all went back to our little house in the country.
Fast forward a year, Logan was laid off and was working odd ball jobs, we got married May 2008 and found out the same month that we were expecting baby #2. Logan also got a job offer in Illinois. A huge change for both of us desert rats who's family lives in Arizona (the intimidate fam). We decided to go for it. So again, Daddy, Mommy and our 1 yr old Ellie moved across the country. The contract was for 2 years. This was quite the adventure! While there we met some great people and people we both miss a lot. We got to see his grand parents and Aunt's family in Iowa. I loved this about the move, we got to see this part of the family that we otherwise would hardly have ever got to see. January 2010 we welcomed our second child, a boy. We named him Garrett Micheal-Wells. He was a big boy, 8 lbs 12 oz. My mom was there for his birth and of course so was Daddy. By September we were ready to go back home. We missed our parents and siblings. Logan got a job really easy and quickly. By November we were back in Arizona.
2011-2012 we found out we were expecting baby #3. We again welcomed another little boy. We named him Vernon Timothy-Blaine and he goes by Blaine. He was 8 lbs and 4 oz (I think! lol by #3 the details are blurry!) Again, I cant pretend that everything was glitter and rainbows, because it wasnt. We were having marriage problems. We were living the actions but not feeling the love. We had some indiscretions a long the way. In September the doors opened, we started talking to each other about everything. We had realized we both became people that we didnt like. So together, we are working through the indiscretions and working to better our selves as individuals, as husband and wife and as parents. This is my blog to follow along our new journey!
