Style

I am saddly a peron with zero style. No specific dress style, hair style or life style. I often wonder what other people label me as. Probably a plain jane, adverage, sloppy mess. Well I dont want to be those things. I really was to have a defind style but have no idea what style ir how to go sbout getting a style. I like so many diiferent things and clothes but dont have the money ti buy what I really like. I settld for medioker (sp?), less then best. Seems likr I find my self settling for the lesser a lot, even in my every day life. How do I better my self? I wish I could max a credit card out just on clothing and toss my old stuff ouy. You know, like on What Not To Wear. Of course Id only do it after losing the 4 years of baby weight I have gained. Si my question is, how do you find you own personal style, both clothing and life style? Hmmmmmm.

wednesday Weight Loss #2

Hello everyone! Yes today is Friday. Posting a couple days late. I have to be honest, I havent done any of those workouts this passed week. I seriously lack ambition and motivation. Here's where I stand now.
#

Start Weight- 219Lbs
Lost- 3
Current Weight- 216
Waist Inches- 47 inches
Inches Lost- 0

I didnt measure my waist today, I dont think its changed. But hey, 3 lbs down in a week. I have to say I hate how the scale will say different things each time you weigh your sell all day long.

So in my desperate attempt at being more active, I am taking the kids out for a walk today. Five minutes have passed since typing the last sentence. Guess I need to sign off and get up.

Have a great weekend!

Wednesday Weight Loss #1

Today is officially day #1 of my Wednesday Weight Loss posts! I am very excited about this! My monthly goal is to lose 10 lbs by February 4th. Very attainable if I just stick with doing things!

Start Weight- 219
Lbs Lost- 0
Waist Inches- 47 inches
Inches Lost- 0

I plan to check in every Wednesday, which means weighing my self before I start my morning workout. I know Ill probably weigh my self several times in between Wednesday, but the only one that counts is Wednesday mornings.

I just got the idea for a new goal and a way to track progress. My problem area is for sure my waist and flap in the front. Every mommy's problem area! so I decided Im going to track how many inches I am in the waist area, use a measuring tape and take a picture of it. Then Ill use the new picture for my blog's title pic. Awesome, eh? lol

I started this morning with a cinnamon and raisin bagel, toasted with a little Nutella on it. Breakfast and I have never really been good friends. Since I am not a morning person, I just dont eat in the morning, unless Logan is home and cooks.

My workouts for the next 20 days will be from this workout plan:
Please check out Downtownn! Healthy is Happy!

I also plan to use this work out for my belly area:

Also found on the Downtownn blog! Swing by her blog and check it out!

Here's to wishing myself all the best of luck on this new journey! Good luck to everyone else who is also working on the weight loss adventure!

New Year, New Blog

Hello everyone! Hopefully I am back in action!

So far this new year is off to a great start. On the first and second, the kids, Logan and I went and stayed at his parents house. Logan was helping his Dad put up new gates and then we went for a ride on/in the Ranger. His parents have a Rhino and some neighbors went too. They have a Prowler. It was fun. I cannot wait for warmer weather and being able to go on more rides. The kids also enjoy running all over the place while at Nana & Papa's. Garrett was amazed by all the tires and the tractor. He sure has a one track mind, just like his daddy.

I didnt make resolutions this year. I set goals (sounds like a lot of people have done this). I think its easier to work towards goals. So here are mine;

1- Become a more involved mother, wife and house keeper. I want to start getting up earlier in the morning, getting a few things done, then taking the kids out side to play more. I have even thought of taken them out on some of the dirt roads around town, parking and going for a walk and letting them run and play. It should be fun. We also need to do more crafts together and have more family time with Daddy too. I also need to become more consistent with house work. I need not to let it get out of hand before trying to tackle the mess.

2- Lose the baby weight and then some! I know, everyone sets weight loss goals at the first of every new year. I'm hoping this year is my year to drop the pounds I had gained since 2004. My target weight is 165 lbs. I am going to start doing at home workouts that I have found from this tumblr site >> Be Healthy, Be Happy She (Kelsea) is very inspirational, posts great work outs and other great info. The work out I am going to start can be found here >>Level One   I can do it from home, so that is great for a mother of 3!  It also has 3 different levels to work up to. I just need to get motivated!

3- Mommy Time! Every stay at home mom deserves some time to her self. Whether she has 1 child or 10. Most of my mommy time is going to be spent scrapbooking. I've decided to start scrapping current photos and work backwards. I am also still going to work on Garrett & Blaine's 1st year books. I also want to work on other mini projects, including ABC books for each kid and a couple of other things.

I have joined new scrapbook sites and cannot wait to get real active on them. Ill post about each one of them soon. I dont want to have to worry every day/night about posting a new blog. I have changed my posting schedule, once again.

Tuesday & Wednesday are still going to be the same (scrapbooking and weighloss) Monday, Thursday-Sunday are just going to be whatever days. Ill try to post pictures, family updates and other stuff on any of those given days. Just not every day. We will see if I can manage this!

Hope everyone has a great week!

Recap- Nov & Dec

Sorry for my MIA business. I got a new tablet (as mentioned before) and its hard to blog from it and I hardly get on my laptop. However, I really want to get back into the swing of blogging. So here's my first post for the new year and its a recap of the last 2 months.

November-

We had 2 Thanksgivings. The first was spent with my in-laws on Thanksgiving day. Logan bought a turkey fryer and we teased him all afternoon about burning the garage or house down. Of course, neither happened. It was a lot of fun and the food was great. However, because Ellie was being a brat that night, I didnt eat much. The kids all had fun playing with their cousins. We had to go home that night because Logan worked the next day.

After he got off work on the 27th, we left and headed to my parents house for the weekend. They live about 6-8 hours away (as mentioned before) The kids did great. They basically took turns sleeping and fussing. Blaine was by far the best rider. We arrived around 5 pm to a full house. My sister and her 2 kids, my brother and his wife and their dog and my parents and their 2 dogs. So that equaled 7 adults, 5 kids under 7 and 4 small hairy dogs. It was crowded. Oh yeah, my grand mother showed up too. So there was actually 8 adults. We had our Thanksgiving on Saturday and of course the food was delish and I got to actually eat more. lol We had to leave on Sunday so Logan could get back to work on Monday. It was a VERY fast trip and I was sad to go.

December-

Logan started talking about knocking out the small wall that divides the kitchen from the living room and building a bar. He has been talking about it for a while but now he was getting serious about it. lol First he put up shelves in our big pantry closet in the kitchen so I could actually put our packaged and canned food in there instead of in our hall way closet. So once I got the food moved, I put my scrapbooking stuff in the hall closet. About 2 weeks before Christmas, Logan & his friend started knocking the wall down. The projected was supposed to only take the one weekend to finish. However, they kept changing the plans and adding to it. My house was in disarray for 2 weeks and only just got completely finished maybe 4 days ago. Now we have a beautiful bar and the house looks completely different! We just have to buy chairs now.
I cant find a good before picture, but looking at the picture below, from the right wall over to where the metal ladder is was a wall. Then there was a door way from the ladder to where the guy in brown is standing.
Wall knocked out, working on removing the ac/heater vent
 Almost done.

All finished
Top tile and wood trim
looking from the kitchen into the living room. Like our color selections?
Now that remodeling is finished, it feels more like home, rather then a rental. Yes, we did this to our rental.. It's an upgrade and we didnt really ask for permission.. lol Breaking the law! breaking the law! It's practice for when we some day will have our dream home.

Speaking of dream home, Id love to have the HGTV 2012 Dream House, just saying.

Anyways, moving on. Every year since Ellie was born we have been getting ornaments for each kid. I had just been getting them from Walmart in the passed. However Christmas 2010 and this last year, 2011, Walmart didnt have anything. Their ornament selection sure has gone DOWN HILL! I was sad this year when I couldnt even find a "Baby's first Christmas" ornament for Blaine. So after a lot of searching and deciding I didnt want to buy them on line, I decided to make this years ornaments. They turned out great! I love them!

I was able to put the Christmas tree up about 4 days before Christmas. The kids helped of course. They were excited but Garrett wouldnt leave the ornaments alone.

I do not have any pictures from Christmas, they are all on Logan's work camera. So those will have to wait for another post. However, I can say we had a great time with both of our families. We did our own little Christmas on the morning of the 25th. The kids were so excited to see their toys and get to open them too. Later that day we went to my sisters house to spend Christmas with my family. My parents, brother & his wife and of course my sister and her family were there. The kids got some really neat presents.
We spent the 26th with Logan's family at his parents house. His parents and his sister & her family were there.
We all got great gifts. The kids are so spoiled!

I am so glad we got to spend both Thanksgiving and Christmas with both of our families!

Janessa came over on the 31st, New Years Eve, and stayed to celebrate with me and the kids. Logan was at his parents house most of the day. Janessa and I played Wii games, had a couple drinks and snacked all night till 12 am. Then it was bed time. (Garrett went to bed about 8:30 so there are no pics of him)
