Slacking

 Sorry everyone. I slacked today and didnt get my video done. I was going to do todays and tomorrows since Ill be gone all day. It didnt happen.. The baby blues are sneaking up here and there and for anyone who knows me, my way of dealing with emotions and things that bother me is to lock it in side and keep it to my self.. Dont worry though.. I am actually doing really great. Its just every once in a while I get moody or sad.. Even Logan has noticed.. Course he is 90% of the cause... But Im not getting into that right now.. Things will work out, things will pass, we may or may not discuss it, either way.. It will be ok :) 

Anywhoooooo!! Ill get the videos done maybe Saturday and catch back up. :) Have a great weekend everyone!!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COLOGNE / PERFUME? Pink by Victoria Secret for me and there is a Giorgio Armani cologne that I love, just dont know which one. Im sure they all smell wonderful. 

WHAT KIND OF HAIR/EYE COLOR DO YOU LIKE ON THE OPPOSITE SEX? I actually do not have a specific style or color that I like.. I like a clean cut/fade, long hair looks great on some guys, cut short and gelled up is great on others and I also find bald (shaved) very sex on some guys. (They just have to have the right head for it) lol I have no favorite eye color on men either. I like the unique eye colors that stand out. Logan's eyes are this aquamarine and they pop. (So does his cousin, he is 1/2 Mexican so they REALLY pop) The golden brown and bright blue are amazing on the right guy..

Lol! Wow, if you didnt learn something about me in that last quesion, Im not sure you will ever learn anything about me. I clearly am not very picky.. I like what I like and it doesnt alway have to be the same thing each time.

Weight Loss Wednesday Update

Sorry, still havent started any kind of diet or exercise. At my 2 week check up today that scale said 226. Im still not eating any different or worse. Hopefully after my 6 week check up, Ill get myself in gear (just before the Holidays, whoooo) Its going to be super hard but Im going to stop drinking soda.. Yes, that means no more cherry Pepsi.. *cries* (sept on the occasional soda/vodka nights) Ok... Enough, Im sure you get the point that I still havent done anything yet to lose weight.. Soon though!!

Free Write, New Challenge & 6 Photos

 I totally missed Friday's Free Write!! I thought about it off and on all day but woke up this morning surprised it was Saturday already. So here we go.

The only thing I can think of it how easy its been becoming a mommy of 3, a family of 5. I know I posted about it probably more then once about how totally scared I was about having a newborn and 2 toddlers. I was VERY nervous. I was worried that Garrett would be so jealous of any one holding Blaine. He is oober jealous if Logan or I am holding Ellie.. So of course, my thoughts were ligit. I wasnt to worried about Ellie being a problem because she was excited about baby.

So we get home..... It has been 2 weeks... And I have to admit, my worrying and stressing was for nothing.. The transition from 2 to 3 has not be hard at all. Garrett is not a jealous monster. In fact he keeps his distance most of the time. There have been moments lately that I can tell by the fussing that he wants me to hold him while Im feeding Blaine. Think I posted before about him learning to say baby in like a week.  Ellie is pretty good too. She wants to hold Blaine a lot, least till he farts on her, then she freaks.. Good thing I sit right next to her and help hold him. She loves giving him kisses as much as she does Garrett..

The biggest thing I have had to deal with since being home is the fighting between Ellie & Garrett. The screaming, yelling and hitting.. Im so over it!! I think Garrett is warming up on the Terrible 2's although I REALLY hope the hitting phase ends before January.. (Thoughts, prayers and suggestions to ending hitting greatly welcomed!)

Seems like October had really drug by. I have no problem with this really. I think the big reason it seems to drag on is because the town we live in had the Halloween  Carnival on Oct 1st! So since Halloween is at the end of the month, my mind keeps thinking it should be November already.. lol But like I said, Im ok with it still being October.. Gives me that much more time with my newborn and my monsters.

Yes, a video challenge! How weird this will be. I hate my voice on video/recording. I sound 12 yrs old.. I also had being on video because I usually look a mess.. 15 Day Challenge- DAY 15!!!

**What Were Your Highs and Lows This Past Month?**

Hmmmm. Honestly? I cant say I had to many lows.. Nothing that stands out in my mind.. Im sure I could probably go back in my past posts and find something I bitched about. I mean, hello, thats all I do... Bitch about something..  Oh, guess I could said when Garrett got hit with the shovel and we had to take him to the clinic.. That was a low moment.. Luckily he didnt need stitches this time, just glue. Poor kid, he is my accident waiting to happen.

I would have to say my biggest high for the past month was for sure having my baby. Wouldnt you agree?? Also, Garrett has learned new words. (Car, Gone, Baby) Loved having my mom here for the L&D of Blaine and afterwards.

I know, my life really is THAT boring... Guess its a good thing to not have to many lows in my life.. But I should be able to come up with more highs..

The New Wednesday

So Ive decided to go ahead and make Wednesday my weigh loss update days.. I havent started any kind of program yet and not to sure when I will. Soon though hopefully! 

I plan to maybe get to go one a walk or two, heck maybe 3 during the week and then get to go to the gym for a work out. 

Here's the stuff I want to include in my new posts:

Hoepfully, having a blog to update every week will keep me on track more. I am really excited about going to the gym. As it is, even my maternity jeans do not fit me.. I was about 245+ lbs when I went into deliver and am down to 225+ lbs now but yet maternity jeans are still to tight and even my "fat" jeans wont button yet. Oh and not to mention that a big majority of my shirts/tops are ones that I have worn through 2 pregnancies now. No they arnt maternity but they are ones that I wore while pregnant with Garrett and now through Blaine's pregnancy.. I have several pairs of jeans in my closest that I have only worn a small handful of times and those times were only if I had a body slimmer on.. I want to be able to wear those jeans without a slimmer on. 

15 Day Challenge- Day 14

 **What did You Want To Be When You Grew Up? What Are You Now?**

Let see. I can remember wanting to be a Vet at a very young age. My friends and I used to play like we were animal doctors all the time. My family used to raise rabbits and chickens and we had a nice chicken coop and rabbit cages. Once we stopped doing that, my friends and I used that area as our "Animal Hospital" and we would put our small dogs in the rabbit cages and use close pins like shots.. lol 

Another point in my life I wanted to breed Boarder Collies. I wanted to raise them, train them and show them. 

Oh yeah, in junior high school I was fascinated with Wolves and the Wolf Reintroduction Program into the Gila National Forest (NM & AZ). I found a great program at the college (EAC) to become a Wildlife Biologist. I had wanted to become a part of the Reintro program. However, we moved away from that college and the college we were closer to when I was in H.S. didnt have that kind of program and I didnt want to go to far from my family.. 

Late in H.S I got really interested in Photography. I really wanted to go to college and take courses in photography and business, so that I could have a small business.. Well, that didnt happen either.. College just wasnt in my future.. 

What am I now?? Well, I am not a Vet, not a dog breeder/trainer and not a biologist or photographer. I am a stay at home mom. Not something I thought I would be when I grew up. In fact at one point in my life, I really didnt like kids.. Well least not other people's kids.. lol Well, turns out, I am at SAHM to 3 happy, healthy, energetic, wild kids.. (K, so Blaine isnt really any of those yet, besides healthy but Im sure he will be all of them in no time) 

 I do still want to some day get to take college classes in Photography and be able to take a professional grade of photos and do it for money.. However, right now isnt my time.. Right now photographer is the "it job". Everyone is doing it. Whether they are good or not and charging $$$$ to take a few pictures.. Maybe in a few years, the hype will die down. Who knows what will happen in a few year. Only time will tell.

Meaningful and Moanful Monday

I really do not like the title for my Mondays. Maybe I should just call it Monday's Moment to Remember..? I kinda like that.. So that's what Ill call it from now on.

Wow! I have done something I havent done before.. My blog has over 100 posts!! How exciting! Wish I had more followers though.. Some day, maybe!!

I also need to think of a new title for my blog.. I mean, I am no longer waiting 9 months to have my baby. Maybe something a long the lines of "After the 9 month wait" Hmm, Ill keep thinking on that.

Anyways, things to remember from the past week.

The kids are still doing really good with Blaine. No horrible jealous out breaks yet. However, I do think that Ellie is doing things to get my attention.. Even if Im not holding Blaine.

I am pretty tired of Garrett hitting Ellie and of Ellie being so dramatic about little things.. I hope by January, Garrett will be out of the hitting stage.. (Please, o Please!!)

Either the 10th or 11th Garrett had a run in with the wrong end of a shovel. My nephew was swinging it around in circles outside and Garrett went out there.. It only took a second. He had a cut on his forehead, opposite side from the side he already had stitches in. Dr. B cleaned him up and said he only needed liquid stitches this time. Thank Goodness!

Blaine is a great sleeper and pretty good nurser. Though we are having a few hard times with getting a good latch at night. He is starting to stay away more during the say and keeping his eyes open more. They are blue for now.. Wonder what color they will end up being??

Logan flew out this morning to Knoxville for work training. How weird! I couldnt imagine if he always had to fly to different places for work. Its also scary that he is over there and that he has to be on airplanes too. Any thing could happen while he is gone.. I know, who actually thinks of the bad things? I guess I do at some point or another.. But nothing bad will happen. He will be home on Wednesday!

I love how fast Garret has learned "baby". I can point at Blaine and ask G "What this?" and he says "Ba-ba" which is Baby. It literally only took him a week. He also started saying car. At first it was if he held a car up, he would say "Car" and say "Truck" when he had a truck.. Now though, everything is a car.

I am down right thankful for my children, husband and family! Life would be horrible without any of them in it!

15 Day Challenge- Day 12

**Bullet Your Whole Day**

**My morning didnt officially start until after 9.  Blaine & I spent the night on the couch again. He is having problems latching on at night and I dont want to wake Logan up. I woke up at 6:50 am and went to see if Logan was awake yet (he flew out to Knoxville today and wanted to be up at 6) He was still in bed and I freaked out. Luckily he was awake and wasnt late yet. (He did make it to the airport, checked in and on plane on time) Blaine and I crawled in my bed, but only briefly cause Garrett woke up. I rarely do this anymore, but I made him another milk bottle and gave him more trucks to play with and left him in his crib. I crawled back into bed until around 9.

**Made the Ellie & Garrett pancakes (ok, ok, honestly, they were frozen pancakes.. ) with honey instead of syrup. (We are out of syrup) Gave Blaine his first bath and took a few photos of him. Garrett & Ellie have been playing outside for a while and eating grapes.

**I've been watching the Kardashians all morning long. I generally dont watch their shows much, but caught Kim's wedding episode last night and so Ive been sucked in this morning.

**Almost 2:00 pm, need to lay G down for his nap, though he doesnt even seem to need one. Going to make some bisects to snack on. Need to wake Little B up and feed him. I hope to get some scrapbooking done today too..

**Cant pull myself away from the computer/TV. Its 3:13, Blaine is fed and peacefully laying next to me. Ellie is mad because I wont let her have a whole sheet of stickers. Told her to pick one and she wants them all.. Bad mama wont let her have them all. Going to try to get more pics off my external hard drive.

**Didnt have much success with the external hard drive :( Garrett napped till after 5 and so did Ellie.. Made some macaroni and fruit for the kid's dinner.. Course no one wanted to eat after it was made. 

**Fed Blaine (only like 10 times today) Got mad at Ellie & Garrett a few dozen times because they wont stop hitting and throwing things.

**Didnt get scrapbooking done. Realize my house is a wreck.. Put Garrett to bed around 9. He is funny. I ask him if he is ready for bed and he nods his head and makes a noise that could be a "yes" and I ask him if he is ready for a bottle (sippy) and he does the same and runs to his room.. 

**11:10pm and Im still on the computer. Once again, changing my blog background. Im very indecisive.  Just purchased a program that is supposed to fix the problems with my computer and the external HD.. It better because Ill be severally ticked off it it doesnt. Ive done the "clean pc" thing you see on TV and it did nothing but cost money..  Tired of telling Ellie to leave LaLa alone time and time again.. 

**Nothing more is going to happen tonight.. Eventually Ellie, Blaine & I will go to bed.. Hopefully B sleeps better tonight, latches on with out a fuss and we all get to sleep in bed, rather then the couch. 

So, that is basically my day.. Boring, I know!!!

Update & Birth Story

Sorry for my lack of updating as of late!! Honestly, I can say I have been busy :) Lets see, I pushed a baby out of my hoohaa, been adjusting to like with 3 kids, trying to sleep.. Oh and trying to find time to get on to the computer at all.. :)

Here's Blaine's Birth Story.

We went into the hospital at 7:30 am (yeah, late, of course) Soon as we were admited, they got me changed into the lovely hospital gown and hooked up the monitors. They had the IV, antibiotics for GBS and the potocin all started by 8:30 am. The monitor said I was contracting between 2-5 minutes apart, but they were not strong at all. At that time I was 2 cm dilated, 50% effaced, very soft but baby was still up high. Logan and I did a lot of walking up and down the hall, trying to get Baby B to drop. I even tried sitting ont he big ball.. Wasnt working though. OB decided to break my water. I cant remember when she did, how far dilated or the time.. But she did it. Also we had problems with my IV. It was leaking fluids and the nurse had to fix it, which in turn made my vein collapse. I ended up being poked 3 more times before she was able to find a vein that handled the IV tube. Ouch!

Finally at 1:30 pm, I was 4 cm dilated and contractions were getting stronger. I was hoping it wouldnt be much longer. I was also scared to get the epidural to soon and have it stall my labor out. So I kept putting it off as much as I could. Nurse checked me again at 3:15 and I was between 4-5 cm dilated. It wasnt long after that that I asked for the epidural. The contractions were much stronger and I was to 5 cm, I felt it was an ok time to get the epi. The process of getting the epidural was horrific this time around. The anesthesiologist has me slumped over, was rubbing on my sides and then feeling my back for the correct place to insert the needle.. He finally found the spot, cleaned and prepped my back and gave me the numbing shots. What followed hurt so bad. Logan says he put the needle in and then pulled it out a little and was like trying to make it go into a different spot. Basically digging around in my spine for the correct spot to put the epi tube. He ended up pulling the whole thing out and starting over in a different spot. There isnt much that makes me cry.. I handle pain VERY well but getting the epidural was more then I could handle.. I fought back the tears the best I could. FIANLLY he was done and it was in. Once it was in and the drip started, it was heaven!

I think I finally got to fall asleep at some point, but it wasnt for very long. Around 6:00 pm, I told my nurse that I was for sure feeling pressure in my butt and it wasnt going away. She asked if I wanted her to check me. She did and I was still only 7-8 cm. Progress!! Some time closer to 7:00 I told her the pressure was getting way more. She asked if I wanted her to get my Ob and I told her it was probably a good idea. Of course it took my Ob a while to get to my room. (seemed like forever) By they time she got there I had lost the pressure feeling. She waited around and in only a few minutes it was time to push. I'd say that we started pushing at about 7:15, 3 contractions later and Blaine was born.

He was born at 7:24 pm a healthy 8 lb 3 oz, 21 inches long. He is VERY mellow and hardly cries. I also didnt tare or have to be cut or anything! Oh and I felt WAY WAY more this time around. They must have turned my epi off sooner or something because the pressure was more then pressure. I didnt have that "burning ring of fire" everyone always talks about, but man oh man I felt loads more with this little guy! I could actually feel his head coming out, then his shoulders and body. I do not remember feeling any of that with the other two. It was a great experience.

Add this to another super easy birth to my 3-0 record! Woot!

Our night in the hospital was good! I didnt get much sleep but it didnt really bother me. I was very happy to be with my little one. The hospital bed was terribly uncomfortable though. He is very mellow and quiet and also sleeps great so far. Oh and we are breast feeding. Im in tons of pain from engorgement and since he sleeps a lot, I have to wake him to eat. So far, everything is going great!

 

Big sister Ellie and big brother Garrett are both adjusting really well. If you recall, I was super worried about Garrett being jealous. He has actually been very good . He actually doesnt get very close to Blaine. Ellie has been my handful though. She wants to hold him all the time, she wants to feed him, she wants him to sleep in her bed. Just a handful! Even though Blaine is a bigger size baby, he still seems like such a baby. Which is great because Garrett was 8 lbs 12 oz and he didnt seem like a baby for long. Maybe Im willing Blaine to be a baby longer because there is the biggest chance that he is our last baby.

Well I have a lot of favorite movies. Its kinda funny that this is today's challenge question since it was one of my 5 questions about me today too.

I'll go with Memoirs of a Geisha.

Let me first say that I like the book so much more then the movie however the movie is still one of my favorites.

Why is it my favorite? I have always had a fascination with the old world Japanese cultures, more so the Geisha life style. While the book/movie is not a true story, it is based on true information. In 1929 an impoverished nine-year-old named Chiyo from a fishing village is sold to a geisha house in Kyoto's Gion district and subjected to cruel treatment from the owners and the head geisha Hatsumomo. Her stunning beauty attracts the vindictive jealousy of Hatsumomo, until she is rescued by and taken under the wing of Hatsumomo's bitter rival, Mameha. Under Mameha's mentorship, Chiyo becomes the geisha named Sayuri, trained in all the artistic and social skills a geisha must master in order to survive in her society. As a renowned geisha she enters a society of wealth, privilege, and political intrigue. As World War II looms Japan and the geisha's world are forever changed by the onslaught of history.

Someday I hope to be able to go on a vacation to Kyoto, Japan. They still train young girls to be Geisha and do all the traditional things that Geishas used to do. Such a mysterious life. I'd love to see it first hand.

38/39 week check up

 So today I had my 38 week check up. (Ill be 39 weeks on Friday) The NP said I am 2 cm, soft but baby is still high. We are scheduled for induction at 7 am on the 7th. Hopefully everything goes fast. :) That's pretty much all for that update.

Im not in the mood to do the 15 Day Challenge. I dont know famous people besides actors/actresses/musicians and obviously I like them because they are A) Hot or B) act/sing good..  Im not into history, politics or anything like that so I cant even say I have a favorite president or political figure.. I cant even say I like Oprah because of the great things she has done in her life time... I have no clue what those great things are, I just know she is loaded! :)

Whimsical Wednesday- In the light of my having my son soon, I decided to find some whimsical looking baby pictures.. Which of course are baby fairies and super cute! Here are a few of my favorites.

 I tried to do this with my DD when she was a baby. (The glitter and wings) But it didnt turn out the same. One of my favorite pictures though..

 So cute!

And lastly, who could forget Anne Geddes!? All of her baby photos are perfectly whimsical! :)
