3 years

May 22nd was our 3 year Anniversary. CRAZY how those 3 years feel like forever. Oh wait, that's because we have been together for like 10 years. The past 3 years have been great but no lies, we have had our low spots too.

For our 3 yr Anniversary we went to Laughlin, NV. Its like a mini-Las Vegas. Kinda like Fremont Street. A few casinos from the 1970's era. Anyways, we got there on Thursday and our room was at the Tropicana. The first night there we went and saw Ralphie May. He is a comidian and pretty funny. (Run his name through Youtube) Sunday we went and saw REO Speedwagon. It was my first concert. It was an alright show though I felt like the lead singer was yelling most of the time. Plus, I only knew like 3 songs. It was still fun though. We were there for 4 days and had a lot to drink and a lot to eat. We did gamble a little. We both like to play Blackjack. We learned that if you sit at the bar and play, they give you free drinks. We didn't win any money though. The best win I did I started with $5 and got to $26. Saturday we decided to get tattoos! Spur of the moment. It was Logan's first and mine, well I have a few. It was totally random, speradic. We never do random. It was great.

Here's to another great year together and hopefully many more to come.

Wednesday Updates

Omg! I just did my weigh in. Let me start by saying, Logan and I spend 4 days on Vacation and ate to much and drank to much. We though we did a lot of walk but obviously not enough. (Trip post to come) I went from being a steady 212 to now being 217. *cry!* That's a 4 lb gain in 4 days. So sad! Someone had posted on my Facebook about the HCG drops and how well she had been doing on it. I'm temped to looking into it. I'm not talking about the 500 calorie HCG diet. Just the drops. They claim to make you lose 2-3 lbs a day and usually come in a 30 day bottle. The down side I've heard and actually witnessed is that you can gain the weight and more back. So you still have to make the lifestyle changes when it comes to eating better.  Which I think is obtainable. Oh man, the little bottles cost a lot though. I guess they also make fake HCG drops too, that infact don't have any hcg in it.

I know I said this last month but maybe June will be my month! Last month I think I only did the 30 day shred 2 day, maybe 3. June I have nothing out of the nornal going on so I really need to push myself to do it.

Good luck to anyone who is on a weighloss journey. June will be a good month!

Preschool

I am super happy to say that my little Ellie has been accepted into Preschool. It wasnt as easy as it sounds. We have 2 Pre-k schools in our little town. One is through the actual school system and the other is through the daycare. Everyone wants to get their child into the school funded preschool, however, their goals are to help children with delays or handicaps first. Those children come first. So you have to have your child tested to see if they have a set back. This pre-k also takes in a few peer model children, ones to help the kids with delays. Of course, I knew Ellie didnt have a delay, handicap or set back but had her tested hoping she could get in as a peer model. I, like every other mother in the world, think my kids are pretty damn smart! :) However, Ellie did not make it through as a peer model. The letter read that she is developmentally on track for her age and either doesnt meet the peer model criteria or there were no more spots open. At first, I was mad. How could they not want to take Ellie in as a peer model? I called it a political issue. I say this because our town being super small, there is one place to work (Copper Mine). There are supervisiors who think their shit dont stink and brib or lie to get their kids into the schools Pre-k. Anyways, back on subject! After I got over being butt hurt that my precious baby girl didnt get in, I started looking into our other option, the daycare. I went by and got the paper work as soon as I could. The lady there said they only take in 15 students and they had 8 spots filled already. I raced home, filled the paper work out and raced back the next morning and dropped the papers off. And guess what?! She got in!!! She will be in the P.M class (12-3). They are thinking school will start Aug. 6th. I am sad because it cost $30 a week but for my child, its worth it! I am ready for August :)

Off topic, Ive been looking for party planning stuff for Ellie's bday in July. I ran across these super cute owls and thought.........
Here

I cannot wait to make cute little things for the class through out the year, for each holiday and maybe even birthdays. Valentines, Easter, and Teacher's Appreciation day. It will be so much fun!

Then I remembered a couple of super cute ideas I saw on Pinterest! The idea of these are to do them every year on the first day of school. Such a cute idea and a twist to the plain traditional first day of school photos.

Sorry, I forgot to link each of those pics. But if you want to know where they came from go to Pinterest and search "First day of School"

I wonder if I will cry when I drop her off. I never thought I would but even as I sit here typing this, it kinda brings tears to my eyes, to think of my baby growing up and going to school. Where does the time go?? Slow down kids!!

This song makes me tear up every time  I hear it.

Wednesday Update

Ill start with my current weight. I am still at 213. something... I have to admit, I've only done 2 days of the 30 day shred and that was over a week ago. :( Ill get off my butt and get started again here in a minute. Though I can get a pair of shorts on and buttoned now. However, they give me the front butt look and I hate that!

Moving right along. I missed updating on Blaine's 6 month B-day. He of course is now 7 months old.
My big guy is getting very big way to fast!
I have his stats for 6 months saved on my old phone but cannot remember them at the moment. Heck, as sad as it is, I dont have the exact measurements. I was battling Ellie and Garrett, so I didnt get the numbers. I think it was 16 lbs and 27 inches? Oh I dont know. On to the more important things.

* Easily rolling from belly to back but hardly back to belly
* Sitting up for long periods
* Making more sounds and noises
* Blows bubbles all the time
* Smiles all the time and is very ticklish
* Eating stage 2 foods and havent found one he doesnt like yet.
* Starting to take a bottle and being weaned.
* No teeth and not crawling yet
* Naps really good but not sleeping through the night yet
*Loves watching Ellie and Garrett play. I hope he is learning what NOT to do :)

I love you little guy!

Totally behind

I had planned to weigh in on Wednesday. Well it didn't happen :( Then I said Id do it first thing Thursday morning, but I got behind. So maybe Friday Ill have a weight to log. However, I do have good news. I just completed Day 2 of the 30 Day Shred. I did miss yesterday, but its ok. Ill do tomorrow and then have weekend off. Ill start fresh on Monday and try to keep up every day. This isn't saying I won't do anything over the weekend, maybe a walk or some kind of activeness.

Tomorrow Ellie has pre-school screening. I hope she gets in so bad. She doesn't have any delays or anything holding her back, so I'm hoping she gets in as a peer. Fingers crossed!
