Catch-up (pix heavy!)

Sorry I've been MIA for a few days. Ok, several days. Been busy and well lazy :) Least Im honest.

So Easter weekend was great. My sister in law, Janessa, myself and my kids (and our little dogs) left Thursday morning for my parents house. It's about an 8 hour drive. Had to stop in Wickenburg to get LaLa's rabies shot and county tags for the other two dogs. Holy smokes, that cost a lot! Cost the same amount for the 2 county tags as it did for Lala's shot and tags. Wow!  The kids did pretty good on the road. Well you know, as good as one can expect a 33 month old and a 15 month old to do in the car for that long. I do have to say THANK GOD for JANESSA! She took care of the kids every time they acted up and started being little shits. It would have been one crazy, nerve wracking trip if she didnt go with us.

Rather then give a play by play from the time we arrived till the time we left, Ill try to sum it up. We played a LOT of Rummy every night. It's a game my family plays at most of our gatherings. We played it SO much that we all began to suck bad. I mean everything from shuffling down to playing just sucked. Guess there does come a point when you have played to much. But we all had fun.

Proud mommy moment- Ellie told us every day when she needed to go pee on the potty. I was so proud. Even on the mornings when I was still laying in bed I could hear her tell Nessa or my mom that she needed to go. She only had one accident and it was in her car seat :( However, she wasnt in panties the whole time. (Needless to say once we got home, her first moment in panties, she peed on the floor. Just dont know about her sometimes)

Friday was a lazy day for us. Finally we all got up and dressed and went out shopping. We went to Beal's outlet in my hope to find some maternity clothes. I did pick up a few things, non-maternity but will work.

The kids did great going to bed at every night. I mean, of course Garrett went to bed well. He does so at home. I felt kinda bad because he was sleeping in the pack N play and its one of the small ones and he was almost touching at both ends, but it worked. Ellie fell asleep on the couch or floor watching TV every night, so that was real nice on me.

On Saturday, we all woke up "early"  to get ready for the Pima County Fair and more shopping. We had a pretty good time. They had Elephant rides but I was like "NO WAY! Ellie is not riding one of those." My mom did take her to pet one though. She liked that. We kinda walked around the shopping booths outside but didnt find much. Those are always so over priced and the stuff is usually kinda cheaply made. We made our way to the rides. The first ride that Ellie saw was a Dragon roller coaster and wanted to ride it. She was SOOOO excited when we got her on, but once it took off she started crying and rode the whole time with her head down. Poor baby. It was a very loud ride. She told me she was scared she was going to fall.. Awwww.

The next ride she wanted to go on was the Ferris Wheel. We decided that Aunt Nessa, Ellie & myself would go on it together.  When it was our turn to get on the Carny stopped us and asked if I was pregnant. Course I said yes and he told me I couldnt ride because it had a metal lap bar, bluh bluh bluh. I was kinda bummed but it was ok, I was kinda happy someone, a stranger, could tell I am pregnant. So Auntie Nessa too Ellie on. Needless to say, Ellie started freaking out before the ride even started but Janessa was able to keep her calm and she enjoyed the ride.

We went on 2 more rides after that. One was pink flying elephants. I wanted to take Garrett with us. The carny lady said as long as I could get the belt on both kids, we could go. Well, got the belt on them but OMG I didnt really fit in. When our elephant went up in the air it made horrible squeeze and creaks.
The last ride was the Carrousel's and of course Ellie FREAKED out on that too. What kid doesnt like to ride ponies that go up and down and up and down?? Not her.. Garrett did well though.
We walked around a little more before deciding that we were all really hungry. We stopped at a BBQ stand and got the most amazing smoked turkey legs! OMG Those things are the best. While standing in the order line I started to feel really sick, light headed, sweaty, and shaky. I made it to the table to sit down but had to ask my mom to go buy me some water and a soda. I knew it was just my blood sugar level, I didnt eat or drink anything that morning before we left the house. (I know, shame on me!) After drinking the soda and eating some I felt a lot better.  After eating we went into the business building that had all the booths set up to try and sucker people into buying their products. A lot of neat stuff but I didnt end up getting anything, aside from getting my wedding bands cleaned till they sparkled once again.  Both kids took turns taking naps while in there. After one booth talked my mom and & Janessa's legs off, we decided to just to leave since the kids were sleeping.  On the way out we stopped to pick up pictures they snap of you on the way in. They turned out cute!

We then made our way to a consignment shop to look for maternity clothes. (Thanks again to Aunt Nessa for watching my kids for me!!! ) I was able to find a pair of shorts, a shirt and a dress! I have to say I am so glad I found the shorts! They may not last the entire summer but for now they are perfect and Ill probably wear them every day. Next we went to Ross, in hopes, yet again to find more clothes. No luck on shorts but I did find many cute tops and a couple of dresses. So happy! I found so many cute clothes and it will work for our Vegas trip :) Gas and snacks then went home to play Rummy! :)

Sunday we got ready for Easter. We are a very relaxed family and werent in a huge hurry to get things done. It was just my kids hunting eggs and either of them understood what was going to happen. We made a veggie tray, hung out and chowed on that. Eventually we decided it was time for the Easter Bunny to make its stop at the house. While the Easter Bunny was doing its thing, Ellie and Garrett were standing at the door calling for the Bunny. "Easter Bunny, where are you?!" It was cute.
I let Ellie walk around the front yard calling for the bunny. She saw a dog in the road and was so exited and said "There it is!" lol Nana, Papa & Nessa let us know that the bunny had went tot he back yard and left some surprises for the kids.
They found all their eggs!
We then went inside to see what else the Bunny had left.
Later that night, you guessed it, we played Rummy. :) It was supposed to be early to bed, early to rise. Hahaha! Not with me. I was in no hurry to leave on Monday. Finally went to bed and Monday rolled around. We left a little later then normal, around 2 or so. The trip home went as smooth as the trip down. (Again, thanks Nessa :) ) We arrived home around 9:30 pm or so.

Since Monday, nothing much has happened to exciting. I actually cannot believe today was already Thursday. Went by kinda fast. Today I did let the kids play outside in the water while I watered the grass. Holy moly, I cannot believe how much our grass has grown in the 4 days we were gone. Its looking good. (Aside from the few spots that Lala dug holes. grumble grumble) I heard the ice cream truck coming down our street so I went and got us all a bomb pop. The kids loved them. They sat on the pourch, naked and ate them. They were messy of course. Bath time afterwards and now both kids are a sleep! woot woot! Tomorrow, we are going grocery shopping with Janessa, I'm hoping to leave the boy child at home with daddy but we will see. Would make my day go a lot easier!

Oh one last thing. HFC (my new thing, Holy F'n Cow) Tomorrow I am going to be 16 week. SIXTEEN WEEKS! Where has the time gone? It always seems to have gone fast but then again its like "Wow, Im only 16 weeks." Everything is going good so far, no crazy moment felt yet, but maybe some little flutters. Who knows. Few more weeks and the kid wont stop moving. Bring on the kicks, jabs and punches.. lol

Everyone have a great Friday!!

Moody Blues

Ugh! I am in such a bluh-tastic mood. Not even sure why. I know I can blame it on being pregnant and the hormones and all that jazz, but that excuses is over used. Guess Im just genuinely in a blue mood.

Ok, I do know one thing that has me in a mood. Let's just say a topic between Logan and I tonight (and most every night, morning and at some other point in the day) is having "adult time." It would be an understatement to say that we are lacking "adult time" in our marriage. I think I've hit on this topic before and once was enough for me but as mentioned above, it is almost a daily topic. I wish he would just jump on, get it done and jump off. If only it was so easy. Ok, enough with this topic. Let's move on. Please....

Tomorrow while Im watering the yard (we are growing grass from seed and are surprised at how well it is doing) I want to try taking some good pictures of the kids. Like actually setting up my own settings instead of using the auto settings. I really wish I had a better camera. I guess maybe if I started out with a lower class DSLR, I could learn and then move up. Actually, what I really should do is drag my Nikon film SLR camera out of storage and start using it. No, its not as cool as being able to see the pictures right after you take them and being able to take as many as you want, but it would be a place to start. Hmmm, now to remember where my Nikon is at.. Think it must be in a tote in Wilhoit.. Guess Ill have to look next time I'm out there. I know thats where my course books and videos are from the on line course I took. I wish I could take real photography classes, like at the collage. Just dont have the money or time right now. Maybe in the future.

Tomorrow is my last day to get my house in sparkling condition before we leave Thursday morning. It really isnt a big task to be done, I just need to set my self to it and get it done. What needs to be done? Finish picking up the living room, which any one with kids knows that is a never ending task in its self. Vacuum the floor and I'd like to be able to steam clean it since spots are starting to show up. Kitchen needs picked up, dishwasher unloaded and reloaded, sweep and mop. Nothing overly hard. Then kid's rooms just need to be picked up, toys put away. Sewing stuff in Garrett's room needs to be straightened up and put away. Then of course vacuum and steam clean Garrett's carpet, Ive already done Ellie's room. Clean my bathroom and pack bathroom bag for the trip. Clean up our bedroom and steam the carpet in there too. I got most all the laundry done today which was a big task all to its self and Im happy I got that much done today. Lastly, I need to finish packing our clothes bag. This kids stuff is pretty much packed. Well, guess that's not totally true. Their clothes are packed, but I still have to gather bottles, cuppies, road snacks, DVD's, toys, blankets, pillows. I know there will be something left behind. There always is, even if Im just going to the in law's house 35 minutes away.

So you might be wondering, WTH am I doing up at 1 am still when  I still have so much crap left to do? I have no idea.. Boring the crap out of my few readers.. Ok, Im going to watch a Law & Order: SVU, even though its 1 hour long, and then hit the bed.

Bluh, I just remembered I need to call the clinic here and see if I can get my kids seen tomorrow.. They both have really nasty coughs. Like Ellie's is in her chest. I just want to make sure its not bronchitis or something. Same with Garrett. I dont know what the Croup is like but hopefully it isnt that. So tomorrow Ill be spending more money that we dont have , which means less money Ill get to use to buy maternity clothes this weekend.. Booo...

Have a great Hump Day everyone.. (insert eye roll here at the Hump part)

Monday Memories

Well today's plans of Flying Kites turned out to be a big flopping fail! Short story, guess the wind was to gusty and the kite wouldnt stay up. Of course not. Oh well, maybe another time.

These first few pictures were taken just outside the house while waiting for Daddy to get ready to go fly kites.

Bad dog, Lala. >:| We are trying to grow grass and shes been digging in the yard. In the pic she is laying in her hole..

Ellie was striking a pose. We are defiantly in the goofy faces and poesy picture phase.

This was while we were trying to tie the strings to the kites.. A task in its self.

I was surprised that he was walking around in the dirt/small rocks. He usually doesnt like that feeling on his feet.

After we decided to give up on the cheap arse kites I bought, we walked home. Daddy got ready to go to work, Garrett went down for his nap and Ellie ran around being a silly girl. She has now been a sleep off and on since 5:30. (Its almost 8 now) It could possibly be another long night but what am I supposed to do when she is sick? She needs her sleep.

Three day count down till we least for my parents! Woot Woot!! I should really start packing our bags now! Maybe later tonight Ill work on that.

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Easter Hormones

Im looking through Janessa's pictures from my parents house last Easter. We were not there, we were in Illinois. This alone makes me sad. So I keep looking though them and realize that more then us not being there last year, what makes me sadder is that we wont all be together again this year. My sister and her family are not going to go to our parent's house. They have chose to spend the holiday with their friends. This makes me incredibly sad. So again, when the time comes to browse through this years Easter photos, my niece, nephew, sister and brother in law will not be in any of them.. Not just them though, also my brother and husband both will not be with us. However, they both have to work. So its a little different then just choosing not to spend it with us.

So thats pretty much whats on my mind. That and a little more and I tried to type out the other part but I just cant find the words for it.

I cannot wait for this next weekend. Even though we are almost broke, I know we are all going to have a great time! My dad has (almost) decided to go with us to the Pima Fair. This makes me happy because I wouldnt see him much else if he didnt go with us.

I hope everyone has a decent Monday. (I didnt want to say great, because that hardly ever happens) Look for pictures tomorrow!! I PROMISE!

Oh and before I go, Ellie is sick! I guess I should say we have all been sick. I hate this time of the year when its allergies and colds none stop! Both kids have nasty coughs and snotty noses. Ellie has also felt so hot today but yet when I take her temporal temp, it says 97-98 degrees. Only once did it say 101.3, but that was on one side of her head and then on the other it was 98.something. I hate taking temps because I never know if they are right, specially when one side says its ok and the other is boarder line fever. I even check with an ear themomator. I was tempted to get a digital meat themomator out and stick it under her arm pit and see what it said.. Garrett doesnt seem to be as hot to the touch as she does. Just the couch and boogers.. I hope they are both feeling better before we leave for Easter. If not, we may be seeing a GP while in Safford. With that being said and the soft, muffled (from the stuffy nose) cries from Ellie, I must go. Night!

What day is it?

Wow, I seriously just had to look at the calendar to see what day is it. It doesnt feel like a Saturday.

Yesterday I had a very nice day! It was grocery shopping day and usually it isnt so nice. With two whining and crying kids, can you picture it? Yesterday was different. I got to drop the kids off at my mother in law's for the day and night. So once we got to town, Janessa and I went to Olive Garden! We did the soup and salad lunch and do I even need to say how good it was? It was delish!! I had the Chicken and Gnocchi soup and Janessa had the minestrone soup and 3 bowls of salad! I love love love their salad and could make a full meal out of it every single day! Then it was off too Fry's, Sam's club, Wal-mart, Hastings, Dollar Tree and my bank. It was a long day but man it was nice not having to yell at Ellie to not run off or deal with Garrett crying. It was also kinda nice to come home to a quiet house for once. Logan was already at work by the time I got home. I did worry about the kids though as they both have nasty coughs. Guess it was a kinda rough night at Nana Shelly's house as Ellie cried for me at bedtime. :(

This morning when they brought them home I could hear Ellie crying from the driveway. She apparently wanted her momma and gave me a big hug when she got to me. Surprisingly though when the in-laws left, Garrett started to cry. I had a very uneventful day. Logan woke up and didnt hang out here long before he left to go see his parents at the steak house. The steak house here is hosting a "There's No Place Like Home" reunion for basically anyone who has lived here, went to school here, pass through Bagdad or even just knew someone who knew someone who might have possibly had a beer once here in Bagdad. Basically its just a reason to drink beer all day long (like this town needs a reason to do this). I had wanted to go, but since Logan is on nights, I didnt think he'd be going. Of course though, I was trying to get Garrett to take a nap at the time he left. Oh well.. Once he got home, he talked just a little bit and that was all.

Lately, I do not feel like we are in a relationship, let a lone a marriage. Passing room mates at best. I am not in the mood for "adult mommy and daddy time" and I know that effects him, but I cant help it. I've never really had much of a libido and having kids has done nothing to help this problem. Whats worse, guys dont understand this. Why is it that male impotence is all over the television and there are little pills to take that give them erections for hours, but yet there is NO talk of female impotence and not much to help with it. Yeah they have lubricants and creams that are supposed to heighten, but do not actually do any thing for the libido. I need something to take that will make me want sex. Can I get a prescription for some Ecstasy? Bluh!! Maybe it is something I can bring up with my OBGYN after I have this baby.

Speaking of having this baby, HELLO 14 weeks! Where did you come from? I cannot believe I am already 14 weeks. I decided that I will start taking belly pictures at 15 weeks. Not that I feel like Im showing yet and do not know how often I will actually take them, we will see. As of right now, I still havent gained any weight. Which is great but its also because I am still not eating the greatest. Today I had a bowl of cereal, almost a whole box of Cheese-its and a bowl of top roman and some candy. Good thing though, I have been drinking a lot of water and I actually bought real prenatal vitamins yesterday. They are gummy chew ones and are actually not to bad. Way better then the hard horse pills. Gag!!

Also speaking of this baby, we did talk the other day a little and pretty sure we have decided this will be the last baby. He was talking about getting the job done so he cant have any more and I told him when he is ready, Ill get fixed as well. I do not believe it is fair for only one partner to have to get fixed. If one cannot have children again, the other one shouldnt be able to either.

On an ending note to this rambling blog, they are canceling 2 of my soap operas! They are canceling All My Children in September and One Life To Live in January. How could they? The person from ABC behind it all says that the ratings have dropped a lot and people do not want to watch soaps any more. They want to watch reality shows! This isnt EVERYONE!! I do enjoy some reality shows but come on, these soaps are an escape from our hectic, crazy lives for just a couple of hours a day. What is worse is they are going to replace the shows with a 2 hour long talk show about food called The Chew and a show about lifestyles called The Revaluation.  A food talk show? Hello, that is what there is a FOOD NETWORK CHANNEL and Im pretty sure HGTV!, E, OWN, and several other channels hit the lifestyle topic pretty well. I wish they could just keep producing the shows and just show them on Soapnet. I know that I am going to boycot ABC and not watch it. I think many of the soap opera views are going to do this. See how many MORE ratings will drop because of this..

With that all said, I hope everyone had a nice Saturday and will have a sunny Sunday!

Extreme Couponing and rambles

Holy cow! Those ladies are INSANE!! Standing in a check out lane for 2 hour (TWO HOURS) just to check out! Making 18 transactions!  Notice how none of them had very small children with them? I would freaking lose my patience and CPA would be call on me for my screaming brats!

How nice it would be though to pick up hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of food and walk out spending under $50 all together? I would love that.

When I look at couponing though, it all just confuses me. Buy two and save .50. Well when that something cost $2.50 each, .50 cents isnt that big of a savings.. Plus it never seems like there are coupons for the stuff we actually use.. I am lost at how people do couponing. I wish I could be schooled :)

Moving on........ To what, Im not sure :) I cant believe today is already Wednesday. Half the week is almost over already. Heck forget the week, this month, April, is half way over! Next Thursday we will be leaving to go see my parents and I cannot wait. Going to be a busy weekend. Hopefully we wont get there to late on Thursday but you never know with two toddlers in tow for 6+ hours. Hopefully we have an uneventful drive though.  I was going to give a detailed agenda now for the weekend, but if I do that, what will I blog about when that day gets here..

So I had a the problem with the scheduling of the big Ultrasound  at the end of May. I've come up with a solution... Its a surprise though, so shhhhh. Im thinking maybe while Logan and I are in Vegas for our Anniversary (23-26) we can go to one of the 3d/4d  ultrasound studios and find out the (maybe) gender.  Course we would keep it a secret that we found out. Mawhahaha! Mean, I know, but we will be going in for the anatomy scan on the 31st, so it wont be that long of a wait or secret =D It will  be something special for just him and I to do together, by our selves. He has no idea yet and I probably wont tell him till we are in Vegas, heck maybe not even till we are on our way to the place.. We shall see..

Holy crappiness! On American Idol a certain country singer got drowned out by the back up singers and it sounds horrible. I do not know if he did that song justice. Still not a big fan of his... I was going to say I cant give any spoilers away, but  what the heck? Saying she sang good or bad isnt a spoiler, saying she got voted off is.. So, Im not sure I liked Paul much tonight but Lauren did good! Scotty is still eh. That's as far as I am so far. Maybe Ill post later with my opinion on the others.

I really need to slow down when I get off the couch. Ugh! Ellie hollers "I need to poop" and I just off the couch and now the dang round ligaments are starting to hurt like crazy when I get up to fast.

Ok, think I am done rambling :) Hope everyone has a good night and good Thursday. One more day closer to the weekend.

Tuesday Predictions

So on my due date boards everyone posts the old wife's tales of how to predict the gender of her baby by many tests, quizes, questions and more. I thought I'd do a fun little twist and take videos of 4 of the tests I did today.

First one up is the "Bleach & Urine" test. Take about 1/2 cup of mom's urine and add 1/2 cup of bleach - any kind of bleach is fine. (do outside or in well ventilated area - makes toxic fumes)

Immediately the combination of the two will result in a slow bubbly type reaction - such as ginger ale, or a fast, super foamy reaction - such as beer.

Ginger ale is supposed to indicate you are pregnant with a girl, the beer response, a boy.

My Video: I would say that the results of this test reminds me of the head on a beer, not the bubbly of ginger ale. So this one is boy

The second one I did was the "Baking Soda & Urine" test. Very similar as the Bleach one. The baking soda test works in a similar way to the Drano test. You mix equal parts baking soda and urine in a cup, and if it fizzes- boy, if it doesn't fizz- girl! It's also safer than the Drano test.

My Video:

My Results: Pretty sure this one is a boy. It clearly fizzed.

The third one I did was the "Penny" test. Lick/Spit on/Lick finger and wet a penny and put it on the wall and if it falls immediately you are having a boy, if it sticks to the wall you are having a girl.

My Video:
My Results: Clearly a girl! I have to admit, I though I may have cheated. Our walls are slightly textured. I thought a penny wouldnt stick to a textured wall very well, so I selected the smooth support wall and as you can see the penny did not fall off. I have to add to say that the penny is STILL sticking on the wall. While typing this I thought I should go a head and try another penny on the textured wall and see what happened.. That penny too is still sticking to the wall. So that is 2 for 2- GIRL

The last one and most commonly heard one I did was the "Heartbeat Per Minutes" test.
The theory states that if your baby's heart rate was 140 beats per minute and above, you would be having a girl. If the heart rate was under 140 beats per minute, then you would be having a boy.

While this would be a quick and easy baby gender prediction method, there is actully no evidence that this theory is accurate. There is recent study, "Sex, Heart Rate, and Age" from Terry J. DuBose, M.S., RDMS; Director Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, which indicates there is no correlation between fetal heart rate and the gender of the baby.

My Video: The results of the BMP test seems to be girl. It does say at 130+ for a bit before shooting up to 150+. Since this video I've had 150s-160s BPM.

There are also charts that go by your age at concretion and the month you conceived in to predict the gender.
A well known one is the Chinese Gender Chart . This one is generally pretty straight forward. It was correct for both of my other pregnancies (First time said girl and i had a girl. Second time said boy and I had a boy). This time around, since I am no certain of the first day of my LMP, which effects the conception day and when my birthday falls, it could be either. Confused? =D I know I was on my period on Jan 7th, just not what day I started. My bday is Jan 21st. Going off the due date I get from Jan 7th, which is Oct. 14th, my conception date is between Jan 19th-24th. If I was 25 when I conceived then its a girl, if it was after I turned 26, then it says a boy. Wow, that was complicated!!

There is another one called the Sex Wizard and it is based off Mom and Dad's birthdays and the estimated conception date. Using the 19th as my estimated conception date, it says Boy as well.

The last one I have done thus far is called Babyman Predictions . It goes off of how old you will be at the time of the birth and what month you conceived in. I will be 26th and conceived in January. The prediction is Boy

It is fun to take these little tests and will be fun to see which ones are correct.

Logan took Ellie to town with him today. Its been nice not hearing her screams and whines all day long! However, I still havent been anymore productive than when she is here. I really must get up and get the house cleaned up and need to go to the store to get a few groceries to last till Friday.  Hope everyone is having a very nice Tuesday!!

Monday Moans

Wow, feels like I havent posted in a while. I guess this is day #3. I've just been so bluh this weekend and now to top it off, Im getting a cold. You know what sucks worse then having a cold? Having a cold and being pregnant. You can take like 2 different kinds of medication and of course I never have those on hand. I havent moved much from the couch since Friday. I did get dressed yesterday in my new shirt that I love. (Similar to this one but lighter grey http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=220765174762 ) It is very comfortable. Picked it up at Ross and hope to get more good stuff from there when we got to Tucson at the end of the month.

I just thought of another thing worse then having a cold and worse then having a cold while pregnant.. Having a cold, while pregnant AND having a 15 month old that also has a cold. What can you give a toddler for a cold besides Tylenol and Motrin which really doesnt help cold symptoms?

Today Logan told me I need to pick out rugs for the kitchen and decorations for the house. Basically stuff to get "moved" into the house. Im horrible at picking crap out and hate doing so because EVERYTHING costs money. Money we do not have. Every payday Im like "We should be able to save money this time" and still end up broke by the end of the first week and still have to make it through another week before pay day.. The only think I want to do is paint. Picking paint ideas out is so much easier then picking out rugs and wall hangings.. So I found this color for the living room. I like it, it is also in the sheer curtains that go over the french doors that go outside and the color is also in a throw quilt my mom is making me for the living room.
But our living room is not that big. The ceiling isnt that high. I think that color would be over powering. So something similar though. I do have the paint jobs picked out for both the kids rooms.

This for Ellie's room. Well just the stripes. That on one wall and then a solid on the rest of the walls. Its fun, would work with a lot of themes and would grow with her.

This for Garrett's room. I like the colors and would work good with the "moosey" theme.
The only thing holding me back on the Garrett room idea is, if the baby is a boy, they will share a room. The room isnt big and the cribs, changing table and dresser(s) would cover a lot of the wall space, covering most of the stripes... So we will see..

Can you tell I absolutely love color? In our rental house (when we lived in it) I painted the living room in a color, its name was something like A bit of sunshine.. Well needless to say, its more like HOLY SUNSHINE! lol The new renter lady is going to paint over it.. The kitchen is this tan/terracotta color sept one wall that has bricks on it, which the previous owners painted white (WHY DO  PEOPLE PAINT BRICKS?) I took the time to go back and paint them to look like bricks again.  So I love color in a house. It makes it more homey.

I have sat here all day long, watching several hours of soaps. I believe Im almost all caught up. What did we do before DVR? Oh yes, miss the show and hope you didnt miss to much. Its also been kinda nice that Logan hasnt been home all day long. All though, part of me wished he would have stayed home and spent time with me. (Not that he would have, even if he did stay home)

Wow, did I have any complete thoughts in this post? Maybe that is why I havent posted all weekend, I cant even complete a thought. I went from talking about being sick, to my favorite shirt, to needing rugs, painting, our rental house, to DRV? Any complete thoughts? I didnt think so.

Well this is a complete though. Im tired, spent and want to go to sleep, now. However, that is not a option. My only choice at the moment is to get up, decide what to do for dinner, put some clothes away and who knows, possibly get dressed my self. (Yeah, its 15 till 5 pm and Im not dressed) Oh lazy day!! Someone take me away!!

Friday Funday?

Not this Friday. We got up this morning and went to breakfast, which was good. Garrett smacked his head on the table pretty hard which sent him into a fit and nothing would sooth him. Finally Logan asked for some crackers. That made him happy. He also rathered chew on a packet of crackers instead of eat the crackers. Whatever keeps them happy, right? Ellie was ok, kinda clingy. Kept wanting me to hold her. She ate her eggs pretty good. Of course Garrett ate everything in sight, pretty good. He even was chewing on a creamer container and it busted all over him. Awesome! My fault though.

Since being home though, I have been so tired!! Garrett fell asleep on Logan and Ellie eventually took a nap too. I need a nap! Instead we sat on the couch watching the Travel channel. Different food shows. Its kinda funny how we can pass a whole day by watching Andrew Zimmern, Anthony Bordain, Man vs Food and all those other shows... Im not to into Anthony Bordain and his No Reservations, but I do actually enjoy watching Bizarre Food and Man vs Food.

Ellie took an awesome nap, probably close to 3 hours long, and woke up on the right side of her bed. Thank goodness because when she wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, WATCH OUT! She is cranky, whinny and such a brat. But not tonight! Garrett took a decent nap on Daddy but woke up and he didnt let me lay him back in his bed. He's been in an ok mood, till well right now. He's rolling around on the floor and fussing.

Logan is going to cook something new for dinner. This should be interesting.. :) I mean that in a nice way. Generally anything he makes does turn out good. If only he would do it more often.

Its been spitting rain all day and cold. It hasnt been over 45 degrees either. Boo! Tomorrow is supposed to snow down to 3000 ft I think, which hopefully counts us out, but it will still be ugly here.. So want the sun shine!! I also cant wait till the public pool opens.. I will be a regular there.. I may even put Garrett in day care so I can enjoy it more.. lol I kid, he will just have to learn how to go down the slide :)

Well that's my Friday. Hope everyone had a nice day and maybe a bit funner then mine.

P.S. Happy 13 weeks and 2nd Trimester to me!

12 week OB appointment

Yesterday was my 12 week check up. The kids, Janessa and I went to town together. First we had to run out to our rental house to drop off paper work and keys to the renter. I was almost in the clear of not having to see her, but as I was leaving, she pulled up. Bummer. Eventually, after answering 3 times what kind of trees are in the front yard (she asks every time we see her), I was able to leave. We then went to the mall for lunch. We had Subway and Nessa ate from Sugar N Ice, a locate business that makes and sells cookies, cupcakes, cakes. Along with salads, sandwiches and soup, I think.

We then went to Ross, in my hope to find a pair of maternity shorts. No luck :( They had no maternity shorts and only a couple of pairs of Capris (one in my size). Hopefully I have better luck in Tucson. I did however find a really cute shirt for my self and 3 for Ellie.

Off to the appointment. Thank you Nessa for being there to help with the kids. Im sure if I was alone there and had to drag the kids away from that activity table thing, it would have been a bad appointment!! She stayed in the waiting room and watched the kids for me. So much help!! I was called back and got my weight checked. I guess I have lost a few pounds. I got to see a NP this time. Ive seen her before when I went with my sister to her OB appointments. She is a very nice lady and great nurse. Nurse AMM asked if I was having morning sickness, my answer was "no not really." Then she asked if I was eating healthier and I said "yeah I guess so." The truth is, I don't have much of an appetite and some days I have to force myself to even eat anything. I know though, the weight will catch up to me this trimester. Nurse AMM put the Doppler probe on my belly and found the heartbeat instantly, strong and steady. She didn't tell me the bpm but from my readings with my Doppler its around 150-160 bpm. Before you go saying Its fast, thats a girl! Both Ellie & Garrett's bmp were always in that same area. So count that old wives tell out. Sorry. We talked a bit more, she remembered me from before and asked about my family. It was nice she remembered me. Then I was done.

On my way out, I scheduled my next appointment for May 6th, Ill be 17 weeks!! Wow!!! I also got to schedule my ultrasound appointment, May 31st. However, Logan has to work that night. I tried for the 27th and she said no openings. When I go back in on the 6th, I'm going to see if there is any openings for the 27th or maybe early morning on the 30th. (He goes back on nights on the 30th) I hope the can work me in. My mom will be here then and I want her to be there too.

After the appointment, we went to Wal-mart, where I spent to much money and got nothing. I did actually get the kids new shoes and Garrett 3 new shirts. Then it was homeward bound. The night at home was nothing exciting, bed time wasn't to bad. Ellie has still been getting up and coming to our room and whining to me. I just keep telling her to go to bed. Eventually she does. I haven't slept in bed with her in a few day. It's nice.

Today, Thursday, has again been nothing exciting. Just a day at home with the kids. Trying to catch up on my shows, cleaning and doing laundry. I think I am finally getting to the bottom of the laundry. Now who wants to fold it? :) Guess that is still on my shoulders and it should be what I need to get doing.

Hope everyone had a wonderful week and tomorrow is Friday!! Take it easy.

Tuesday Threesome

I had a twosome!!! hahaha isnt that normal?? Nah, I mean this is for Monday & Tuesday.

Monday was a lot better day but I was waiting for picture (Geeez Janessa tooook forever!! ) We took Ellie & Garrett and the dogs to the "river" yesterday. I added the quotations around river because it is less then a river but for Arizona, you take what you get for as long as you get it. Another month and all the water will be gone for the year. Plus its called the Santa Maria River, so river for short.. We had a good time. The kids played in the sand and water, Janessa & I caught some sun and the dogs run around playing. Got some great pictures, but of course they are on Janessa's camera because I forgot my memory card, like I always do. So until I get to copy of them all, Ill post a few of the ones that she posted on facebook.

The rest of the day went pretty good too. Kids napped a little in the car and I did some yard work.

Today we went for our walk. I do not know how many more walks Ill want to go for. Ellie is horrible on the walks, she completely refuses to walk. I hate having to push the stroller with her on the top of the cup holders.   Im afraid at any moment that the handle might slip out of my hand and down the stroller will go and off Ellie will go. She could get very hurt. Not to mention that I get tired pushing the stroller faster when she is on it and its getting hotter.  Not F'n way! I just looked at our outside temp gage and it says 98 degrees. I has to bed wrong! I have to check a weather site to see what it says. I know in the days to come it is supposed to get cold again, like one day a high of 56 or something. Ugh! Hate it! K the weather site says high of 78*  must be the placement of the outside themometor.  We shouldnt be hitying 90's for another 2 months at least.

Tomorrow is my 12 week appointment. It's going to be a busy day. We have to go out to the house in Chino to drop of paper work to our renter at noon and my appointment is at 2:30. Thankfully Janessa is going with me to help keep my sane!  I just hope both kids are good. Ok, I know Garrett will probably be good, but Ellie is always hit and miss as soon as we are on the road. We shall see.

Until tomorrow....

Oh what a day

Nothing to exciting happened today. Did some laundry and then Logan left for a while. Came home and said we were going to some friends for dinner. Went over there and hung out for a while. Had a good enough time. I am so anti social, I hate going to other peoples houses but usually end up having an ok time. Im just verbally challenges and cannot carry on a full conversation.

Oh, I forgot, I did actually do something today. I pulled weeds out of the future area for my watermelon/ cucumber garden! I need to do a little more work on it tomorrow, but Im glad its a set in the right direction. OH MAN! I was thinking how much I cant wait for watermelon and hope we get some good ones this year and thinking about growing the canning cucumbers or make bread and butter pickles, but OMG I just thought about how my Grandpa used to take cucumbers, cut them into spears and put them in vinegar and salt. Wow, now I am totally craving that. Or even just cucumbers sliced up with salt on them.. Guess Ill stick with an apple and salt. Salt is like so bad for you and bad when your pregnant, but man seems like Im always craving it.

Some good news! I found baby's heatbeat the other night. I guess I was just looking to high before, its still super low.
Before you even say anything about the BPM meaning boy or girl, both Garrett and Ellie were always around 150-160 BPM.

So thats pretty exciting... Guess I did have exciting news. Im hoping for a good night tonight, we shall see. 11:15 and she is showing no signs of being tired, even though she only had like 30 minute nap and played hard at the friends house. After Tinkerbell is over, its bed time!!

Friday Fun

I have to start by saying, Thursday night was one of the worst ones I've had to deal with yet. Ellie went to sleep when we got home from Prescott, Garrett went down no prob (like always, what a good boy) and Logan was out side working on projects with a friend. Well they start setting off fire crackers and black cats at 1 AM! Yes, my thoughts too. Well around 2:30 am Ellie woke up and I decided to move her to her bed, change her pull up and hope for the best.. The best was FAR from what I got. She was up from 2:30 till 5:30 screaming, crying, whinning, begging for suckers, just all out being horrible. I was so far beyond tired, I cant even explain it. I feel so bad now because I yelled at her way to many times but I was pushed past my limits. Finally at some point I gave up, got into my own bed and went to sleep. Ellie must have done the same.

Logan's alarms started going off around 8 or so, after ignoring them several time he and I finally woke up. He asked if I wanted to go to Prescott with him or not. I said "Not really but I sure do not want to stay here all day with the kids." He started texting with his mom and then told me to get up and get ready. At first I was like, "ugh, are you serious?" Then he told me we were going to drop the kids off with his mom, go to Prescott to meet the Renter and then go to dinner and a movie. Wow. I was like, ok this is going to be a nice day!!

Fast forward a couple of hours. We met with our new renter to sign papers and get money (woot, not all she owes but its a start) We signed a year lease with her, so hopefully she sticks it out for that long and doesnt start screwing us around like all the other renters in the past have.

Afterwards we went to Olive Garden for dinner. It was delish of course! I love their salads! Oh and the bread sticks were so fresh and yummy.

Next we headed to the movies. Got our tickets for "Hall Pass", however we were like 1 1/2 hours early. So we walk around a bit and decide to go by Home Depot to try to return some vertical blinds that were once again cut the wrong length. (4th or 5th time between 2 Home Depots and a Lowes) We thought it was a long shot because we didnt have the receipt but they gave us store credit with no problem. We made sure they were right this time before we left. Tada! Finally!

We left there only a few minutes later. I had a good idea but Logan told me not to tell him cause he had an idea too. He drove back towards the Theater but turned towards Fry's instead. I couldnt believe he actually knew what I wanted. He was headed to Dippin Dots!! Saddly though, it was shut down.

We headed back to the Theater. I then saw the Dippin Dots sign right by the Theater! We parked and walked over, course it was closed too. They were either just moving locations and werent yet set up or that one was also shut down. Boo!!

About 20 minutes early for the movie, we headed in. We both got Icees. Mine the blue and Logan's the red as well as a box of Zours (yum =D ) We went in and got the best seats, center row with the hand rail in front, perfect for propping your feet up on. Logan took a nap while we waited. I felt like I was with an old man, lol. Finally the movie started and I woke Logan up. Lets start by saying, "Hall Pass" was damn funny!! For sure worth seeing.

I'm also excited to say the new Pirates movie is coming out and it looks just as good as the others. I also want to see Rio. Maybe we will drop Garrett off and take Ellie. I bet she would like it too.

After the movies we went by Walmart for a few things......

Then Logan decided we should go try the Frozen Yogurtz place. His parents say its good. I thought it was by the mall, of course I was wrong after we drove all around the mall. Its one the other side of town. I have to say, ask for samples. I got one kind Tangy Tarts, or something and it wasnt that good. IMO but the peanutbutter and strawberry cream ones were pretty good.

Then it was time to get the kids. It was a very VERY nice day away from the kids. All I have to say is, I cannot wait till May when we go to Vegas for 4 days and get a 4 day break from them! lol

That was my Friday Fun!! Hope everyone else had a great Friday too.
