Fashion Fridays?!

Alright, so I had said I was going to make Fridays my Fashion Fridays... Well , I lied! I am not fashionable and hate taking my own pictures.. Soooo. Ive decided to make it Free Write Friday. It will be a lot easier for me to write about whatever, rather then something like Fashion.

Here goes-

My Friday was pretty good. I woke up to early and fell back to sleep maybe 45 minutes before my alarm went off.. Then of course didnt want to get out of bed. Some how I still managed to get myself and the 2 monsters dressed, hair fixed, diaper bag packed, etc all done by 9:30 when our ride showed up. Our ride? Today was Payday, also known as grocery shopping day.

Did you know that some people in the world go to the store every day to pick up when they need for that nights dinner? Did you also know that some people buy a fews worth of grocery at a time? How do I do it?? Living in BFE with one small, expensive grocery store really makes things hard. We, humans, can adapt. We drive 1 and a quarter hours away to go grocery shopping. We buy food for a 2 week stretch!! Do you know how hard it is to organize a shopping list for 2 weeks? Well its horrible when you are someone like me who is not an organized person at all!!

Today was Janessa's turn to drive (we alternate every 2 weeks who drives). We loaded my kids carseats into her truck and were on our way.. Some how we have managed to have 2 peaceful trips to and from town lately.. The kids have both been pretty good and slept in and out.

Grocery shopping was smooth today. After eating salads at Red Robin, we headed to Walmart. The kids were pretty good for me. They fought with each other some but in general they were good.

After Walmart is usually Cost Co. That was a pretty fast trip. Since we didnt have any extra stops to make today (ie; JoAnns, Michael's, Mexican store for Carine Asada) we were done shopping pretty early and were home by 5-ish.. We usually dont leave town till 5-ish, so this was great!

Oh and my mother in law bought us a box of diapers for Blaine.. A box of 300 diapers! Holy smokies that is a big box of diapers! Hope it last a while. (Yeah, not with a newborn...)

So over all, this Friday was a good one.. Hope yours was too!

I really am horrible at describing how something explains me. I like songs not because they describe me but because I like them. Yes, some can be related to a moment in my life, but generally its cause I like the song..

5 Questions About Me 9-29

Here is my first posting of the 5 Questions About Me! :) If you have any questions for me, leave me a comment and I will answer them next Thursday :)

1. ONE OF YOUR SCARS, HOW DID YOU GET IT? Pick just one?? I seriously have many scars! I was a wild child in my younger years. Lets see.. I have a backwards J on my head. My sister & I were in a car accident when we were younger. I was in 2nd grade and she was in 9th grade.. Of course I wasnt wearing a seatbelt and believe I was probably sitting on my knees or something when the accident happened. We believe I hit my head on the door handle and that is what caused the J. Its pretty cool because my maiden name starts with a J. :)

2. WHAT IS ON THE WALLS IN YOUR BEDROOM? 2 red sheets hanging over the one window because I have yet to buy or make curtains to go over the window. An ant that I killed a few weeks ago but its still hanging onto the wall. Lastly a picture like this one, but slightly different of course.

3. WHAT DOES YOUR MOBILE PHONE LOOK LIKE? An Env3, the blue one. It does have a cover on it that is black, pink and white/silver with butterflies. Though the cover is broke and the paint is chipping off, I really need a new one soon.

4. WHAT MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO? Im going to be corny and say "Everything." No, but really, I do listen to a wide range of music. The most listened to XM stations are The Highway (country), Top Hits, Pop2K and 90s on 9. Though I also enjoy a lot of other kinds of music as well.

5.DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME YOU WERE BORN? I am not sure. I want to say 10-ish pm. I really could get up and look in my scrapbooks but Im to lazy to do so.

Whimsical Wednesday 9-28

So I had planned to take a photo my self of something whimsical.. Well Wednesdays are currently my busy day and I dont necessarily have time to snap a photo. So Im changing this to posting pics of something whimsical.

For my first Whimsical Wednesday , Im doing cakes. Look at these things! They are freaking awesome and I would feel horrible eating them. (Not to mention how much they cost OMG!)

There are so many more cakes like this.. They are gorgeous! Cake making has really become an art now a days.

Also, my 37 week OB check up! So saddly I am positive for GBS :( I was with Garrett too, so it didnt come as much of a surprise this time. I am measuring about 2-3 cm dilated! (woot!) I am pretty sure I was having contractions this morning, maybe 10 minutes apart, but they fizzled. My next check up is next Wednesday and if I am still pregnant then we are going to schedule an induction for Oct 7th! Ahhh! Its crazy having a date set now.. I was nervous about being induced early, however, Ill be 39 week (not to early). I asked what she plans to do for induction and she said because I am already dilated, we will just do Pitocin, no need for Cervidil or anything to soften the cervix. So Im not to worried about it being overly painful like some people say it is.. All I got induced with Garrett was Pitocin and it didnt hurt any worse then labor did with Ellie, it just took forever to dilate.. So hopefully this time, starting out dilated it wont take as long!! PLUS, I am glad to be induced now that I know I am GBS positive since Ill have to be on antibiotics for like 3 hours.. So in the end, Im ok with our choice to induce a week early. Yeeey!! Its almost time!!

How far into the future are we talking about?? I hope to become a better house keeper, house wife, mother, friend and all around a better person. Hopefully no time in the near or even distant future Logan will get laid off. Hope we will be here in Bagdad for a while and someday be able to sell our current house in C.V and buy a much better and suitable "estate" for our family. I hope to be a good role model for my daughter and be able to motive all of our kids to be the best that they can be. I also hope that they will be open with us with anything they come face to face with. (I know, thats all parents wishes) I also hope we are someday able to save money up and not live paycheck to paycheck and actually have money in the savings account.. Someday!!

**Discuss Your Current Relationship**

I first met Logan at a mutual friend's house at least a year or so before we actually got to know each other.. At that time I was hung up on his friend and he was kinda after my friend (both friends were brother/sister) It wasnt till after I was over that guy, been in serious relationship and it ended that Logan and I were brought together. (2003) I was a Junior in High School and he was a Sophomore, we both took Chemistry class and must say we had chemistry :) He sat behind me and we flirted with each other for a long time. Eventually we hung out together with some other friends and he made his move. Honestly we both admitted that neither of us thought the relationship would last longer then a week. I was a cradle robber, I had just turned 18 in January and we started dating February 4th and Logan was still 15 at the time. (He did turn 16 in March) We had the very typical High School relationship- hanging out between classes, passing letters, taking lunch together, his house or mine after school, etc. We also had rough moments as most relationships at that age do.

Flash forward, I graduated H.S in 2004 ,we were still dating. I moved only 45 minutes away to work and he was still in school. After he graduated in 2005, we got our first rental together. A 2 bedroom duplex. It was a nice first time house. We lived together while I worked, he went to College and worked, for about 2 years. Then we talked about buying a house, which in my mind made me start looking for a house. At that time we had been dating for about 4 years. We found a cute little (I do mean LITTLE) house with a lot of land. We we approved and after all the paper work was signed, we had bought our first house together.

After much remodeling, we moved in. Logan proposed to me February 2007 and of course I said yes.

We were engaged for about 6 months when I guess I got scared and wanted out. We split up at the end of September and I moved out. At the end of November I found out I was pregnant, we started talking again and decided to try to work things out. I however moved 8 hours away to live with my parents. I just couldnt live where I was living at the time and wasnt ready to just move back in with him. I have to say, being apart for the next 9 months really brought us together closer then we had ever been. He would come visit me at my parents and Id drive up to stay with him. We took turns every month on who went were.

After Ellie, our daughter was born, July 2nd, 2008, I moved back home with Logan. Shortly after that he gave me my ring back and I accepted. Everything was so much better then it had been before we split up.
We decided to set the date for May 22nd, 2010 to get married.

It was only a couple of weeks before the wedding that I found out I was pregnant and we were expecting our 2nd baby. Logan has lost his job in February (2010) and had been lucky to have a couple small jobs. He wasnt having any luck finding a stable, well paying job in Arizona. He slowly started to apply a little further from home. I vowed that I would go anywhere with him, no matter how far it was from home. He eventually got a call for an interview in Illinois. They flew us to Missouri in June for an interview and he got the job by July. It was very hard to do, but we moved from Arizona, both of our homes, across the U.S to Illinois. We lived there for 1.5 years. I'd say that time brought us closer together. We didnt have family or friends really, so we only had each other and the kids. We actually had to spend time together, lol.

Around September 2010 we had started hearing about job openings back in Arizona where Logan had worked before. He wouldnt listen to me when I said to apply, but of course when his dad told him it was a good idea (What could it hurt?) he applied. He interviewed and got the job and we were moving back home by November 2010!!

The past year has been pretty good. We are home with our families all with in either a couple minute to a few hours drive. Its so nice to have everyone close again. We found out in February 2011 that we are expecting baby #3, another little boy. I am due in about 3 weeks, hopefully he comes sooner! :)

I would be telling a lie if I said everything thing has been great with no problems at all.. We have been married for 2 years now and have had minor problems.. You know, just small things.. But of course we both love each other very much, have amazing kids, and I wouldnt trade him for any other jack wagon in the world. (Yes, I called him a jack wagon) Here's to many many many more great years!

Monday Make Over

Nothing is more frustrating then having a post completed and for whatever reason, it gets erased! I had an update last week and was right down to posting my siggy image when Garrett tossed a toy up on the keyboard, some how highlighting the post and replacing it with a couple of characters. My first thought was "Hurry, go to edit posts before it is able to resave over." I wasnt fast enough. The post was gone and replaced with ']= ...... Anyone else find it ironic that it look like a sad face?? lol That's how I felt after my post was gone.

I dont even remember what that post consisted of now. So sad :( But I have good news.. I am going to try and make over things here a little and actually be consistent on sticking with it. I know in the past I've tried to change things and then never do it.. Well I am going to TRY very hard to keep up with things this time..

Notice for Eviction

Dearest Blaine,

My sweet little boy, it is the eve of the 37th week in which you have in habited mommy's belly. You legally have the rights to 3 more weeks on the inside. However, after all the kicks to the ribs, squished, scrunched and bunched inners, bladder jabs, cervix grinds and not to mention the inverted alien belly button, in which you have either given to me or caused over the 9 months we have been together, I am issuing you a notice of eviction. You have 1 week left to beat me up from the inside, 1 week to push on my bladder and make me want to pee my pants, 1 week to enjoy the muffled yells and screams that come from your older sister and brother, and 1 week left until you have no choice but leave your current residence!!! The first of October is an excellent day to move on out into the real world. I promise that once you get here, you will see that the outside world isnt that bad. You get to wear tons of cute clothes, in which you will get poop on more then once. You will get to be snuggled in super cute blankies and even some made just for you by Nana Rhonda. You will get to see Daddy, big sister Ellie, big brother Garrett, aunts, uncles, nanas and papas and most of all, your mommy! We may even have a party to celebrate you. Yes, your first party!! Oh and the best part, you will get Mommy juice! Its like liquid gold and will help you grow to be a big boy and be able to beat up on your sister and brother. So what are you waiting for?? Come on out and join us! We look forward to getting to cuddle, kiss and love on you.

36 week check up!

I had my 36 week check today. I think I've gained between 30-40 lbs, but Dr. C hasnt said anything about it. Just hope I am able to lose it (and more)!!! My BP was good. Dr. C did the GBS test but unlike the other times I've been tested, she didnt swap around my bum. Weird.. I asked how likely it would be that Id have it this time since I had it last time and she told me about a 30% chance.. I am hoping its negative so much!!! Being almost 2 hours from the hospital, if I have a spontaneous labor and it goes fast, I may not have time for the antibiotics.. Scary! Moving on. She also checked me for dilation!! She said that on the outside I am 3 cm (Im guessing like the bottom of my cervix) but that could be from having 2 babies before. She then said the inside (top of cervix) is between 1-2 cm AND she could feel that baby's head!! That is so crazy!! She didnt really say that she thinks Ill go early, but she did say "Ill see you next week, unless you dont make it that long." She said if I make it to 38 weeks we will discuss induction. So crazy that I have between oh say 1 day to 4 weeks left till baby time!!! The end is near!! She didnt measure my belly to see if Im growing on track still but Im not worried. I can feel the top of my uterus and its like right under my rib cage! lol There is like NO place else for it to go.

I havent noticed many BH or fake contractions today, well a few. Im scared that I wont realize when they are real and then bam my water will break and we will be in a crazy mad dash to P.V. I know, that's like everyone mom-to-be's fear, not knowing when its real labor.

Today I need to get mt house work done.. (Yeah, because I have the motivation) I also think Im going to work on curtains for the boys room and fix Logan's work pants. (The have some pretty bad holes in them) Maybe even scrapbook later..

Approching 36 weeks

Wow!! I cannot believe this Friday will be 36 weeks. So crazy!! When I was pregnant with Ellie, at 36 weeks she stopped moving. My mom and I went into the hospital around 8:30 on July 1st (08 for the record), they hooked me up to the monitors and she was doing great, however her heart rate wasnt raising the way that it should have when she was moving. So they decided to keep me over night. I have to say that was a VERY long night with little sleep. I got like 30 minutes of sleep the whole night. The bed was uncomfortable and if I moved the monitor would stop picking her heart beat up. Around 4:30 I started getting cramps and tightening in my belly. Nothing major though. I did start to time them (to the best that I knew how). I guess I finally got some sleep at some point. The nurse came in to check on me around 7:30 am. I told her I thought I was having mild contractions and she agreed that the monitor was picking them up but nothing serious. They had to wait for my OB to tell them what to do next. An hour later they checked me for dilation and my surprise I was 3 cm! They said that it is normal to dilate like that and that I could be 3 cm for the remainder of my pregnancy. The released me to go home. My mom and I went and got breakfast from Burger King and then headed back to the house. I tried to rest and update my message board with my night in L&D, but I just couldnt concentrate on anything. I think I got a little nap in but nothing to speak of really. The cramping was getting stronger so I decided to try a warm shower. Wasnt helping and I even tried to sit down and take a shower/bath.. lol Still wasnt helping. A little while after getting out of the shower I told my mom I thought we should go back to L&D that it felt like the cramping was getting stronger. That was around 11:30 am. They checked me again and I was at 4 cm. When I reached 5 cm (not to long after that) they gave me the epi!! (HEAVEN!) Basically to speed things for the readers, I had Ellie at 5:40 pm on July 2nd at 36 weeks! It was an easy L&D for sure..

So it is really crazy to think I could go into labor at any moment, even though I went to 40 weeks (and a day or so) with Garrett and was induced. I think it gets so hard at this point, unless you are scheduled for a C-section, you have NO idea when it will happen. (Even with a c-section guess you could always go before that date)

Anyways!! Ive been trying to get laundry all caught up so I can pack my bag and the kids "possible over night" bags. Course I started washing baby Blaine's clothes too.. So now I have 3 loads of mine, Ellie & Garrett's clothes and blankets and now a load of baby clothes (4 loads total) staring at me from the other couch.. I hate folding and putting clothes away!!!! But it must be done and REALLY needs to be done tonight. Oh yes, and I also need to make a JUST IN CASE roadside bag to go in my car. (Im sure Ive touched this topic once or twice already) Being as we live close to 2 hours from the hospital and do not know when labor could happen, I want to have a couple blankets, towels, etc, to keep in my car.. JIC... Hopefully it wont come down to a roadside baby though.. Eeek!!

As far as how I am actually feeling.......... Not to bad but not the greatest either.. I get heartburn anytime I bend over and that includes bending over the side of Garrett's crib to change his diaper, or sitting on the floor to change him, clean something, etc.. Mr. Blaine sure lets me know he is still in there. All I can think is that he is totally stretched out or SUPER long. I get rib pressure and cervix pains at the same time, like he is just completely stretching out. No clue is he is head down or up.. Mostly think he is transverse still and mostly on my right side.. He has always been a right side baby... I guess I am just anxious! Who wouldnt be, right??

On to other things.. Labor Day weekend, perhaps? We went to Logan's parents house for a few days. (Sunday-Wednesday) We didnt do anything overly exciting.. The kids had fun and Logan and his dad worked on their redneck well digging project. (Dont ask!!! Just dont C: ) Here's some pics:
