River Fun

Today we went to the river with some friends and their 2 sons. It was the perfect day to go. Not to hot, not to windy, the bugs werent horrible and the water was the perfect temp. Oh and no one else was out there. That is always a plus. I think we will try to go out there a couple more times because pretty soon the water will be all dried up. The crappy part about living in Arizona.

This kids all had a blast and so did the daddies.

More time swimming with Daddy. Our water babies love it!

Like my last post, there was not a dull moment out there. Garrett was walking on the sand and started to cry. At first I didnt think much of it but head over to get him. But he kept crying more and then I remembered..... There were bees down on that side of the sand. I scooped him up and rinsed the sand of his feet. The stinger was still hanging on, so I pulled it out. Poor baby boy did not like that at all! Kristen, the other boys' mother asked if he is allergic, I kinda laughed and said "We will find out." Thank God it doesnt appear that he is allergic to bees. His foot did turn red in the area and actually had a weird white line from the sting point up the side of his foot. The red and white both went away though.

The kids had so much and because neither had naps before we went out there, they were both passed out in their car seats before we even left the swimming hole.. Poor kiddos.

Garrett went to bed an hour early! Hope he stays asleep tonight. Ellie finally crashed. I hope I actually get some sleep tonight.  I've reached the point in pregnancy where I cannot get comfortable, my gut is soar and I just cant sleep. The fun stuff! Just getting ready to have a new baby.

p.s. Tomorrow is the day Garrett will get his stitches out, hopefully.
