I really do not like the title for my Mondays. Maybe I should just call it Monday's Moment to Remember..? I kinda like that.. So that's what Ill call it from now on.
Wow! I have done something I havent done before.. My blog has over 100 posts!! How exciting! Wish I had more followers though.. Some day, maybe!!
I also need to think of a new title for my blog.. I mean, I am no longer waiting 9 months to have my baby. Maybe something a long the lines of "After the 9 month wait" Hmm, Ill keep thinking on that.
Anyways, things to remember from the past week.
The kids are still doing really good with Blaine. No horrible jealous out breaks yet. However, I do think that Ellie is doing things to get my attention.. Even if Im not holding Blaine.
I am pretty tired of Garrett hitting Ellie and of Ellie being so dramatic about little things.. I hope by January, Garrett will be out of the hitting stage.. (Please, o Please!!)
Either the 10th or 11th Garrett had a run in with the wrong end of a shovel. My nephew was swinging it around in circles outside and Garrett went out there.. It only took a second. He had a cut on his forehead, opposite side from the side he already had stitches in. Dr. B cleaned him up and said he only needed liquid stitches this time. Thank Goodness!
Blaine is a great sleeper and pretty good nurser. Though we are having a few hard times with getting a good latch at night. He is starting to stay away more during the say and keeping his eyes open more. They are blue for now.. Wonder what color they will end up being??
Logan flew out this morning to Knoxville for work training. How weird! I couldnt imagine if he always had to fly to different places for work. Its also scary that he is over there and that he has to be on airplanes too. Any thing could happen while he is gone.. I know, who actually thinks of the bad things? I guess I do at some point or another.. But nothing bad will happen. He will be home on Wednesday!
I love how fast Garret has learned "baby". I can point at Blaine and ask G "What this?" and he says "Ba-ba" which is Baby. It literally only took him a week. He also started saying car. At first it was if he held a car up, he would say "Car" and say "Truck" when he had a truck.. Now though, everything is a car.
I am down right thankful for my children, husband and family! Life would be horrible without any of them in it!
Hope everyone has a good week!

Mix of Updates
So sorry to my readers on my lack of posting. I cant really blame it on being busy, becuase I havent been. I have just been real tired lately and chasing the kids doesnt help much with that.
Here's the run downs on updates.
Myself- I am doing great. I am 29.3 weeks pregnant. So close to being finished. It feels very unreal that I only have roughly 10 weeks to go. Mr. Blaine is moving like crazy most every day and like his older siblings, he is riding low low low low low.. lol (Sorry, I was channeling that "Cyclone" song from a few years back) The heartburn hasnt eased up, breathing seems to come in shorter breaths and sleeping in nearly impossible. I toss from one side, to my back, to the other side and all but lay on my belly and still cannot get comfortable.. Even on nights that I dont wake up much, my body hurts like I didnt sleep well at all. Tomorrow I have an O.B appointment. It's my last "4 week" appointment. After this one, it will be every 2 weeks. Ahhh!! That is so crazy. Totally makes me wish we lived closer to Prescott right now. But luckily we already to go Prescott at least once every 2 weeks any ways. So hopefully Ill be able to get my appointments on the days we go normally. That would be VERY nice.. Im assuming I passed my 1 hour glucose test because they didnt call and tell me I didnt pass. lol I guess I assume if I didnt pass, they would have already wanted me to go back in to do the 3 hour test.
Logan- Well, he is himself. I cannot ask for anything else. He goes to work every day without complaining (or least minimal complaints), works VERY long hours (normal day is 12 hours, some have been 16 hours lately), comes home, plays with the kids and works on his own projects. Sleep and repeat 4-5 times a week. He did surprise me last weekend with a small getaway. His mom watched the kids and we went to Flagstaff for the night. We stayed at the Dury Inn (a very nice hotel) and we went to the movies. We saw "FWB" and it was pretty funny. Lots of good humor through out the whole show. We did a lot of walking around downtown Flag, checked out their crappy mall. Seriously, how is it that Prescott has a better mall then Flagstaff, when Flagstaff is known as a "College town"? Shouldnt they have a bigger, nicer mall? Oh well. Anyways, we had a nice, quiet, relaxing night, KID FREE :)!!!!
Elisabeth- Oh gosh, I do not even know where to start with her!! She is for sure a 3 year old going on 13. Her attitude grows with each day! The other day I was painting her toe and finger nails. I kept telling her to leave her hands on her legs and not to move them or she would mess her nails up. She told me "Shut up" with quite the attitude! I told her not to say that again and so what does she do? Tells me to shut up again. I grabbed her by her little face to make her look me in the eyes and told her she does not say shut up. She does not say that to mommy or daddy. (Which actually after I thought about it I should have said not to say it to anyone) She said ok. After I finished her nails, I asked her "What do you say?" expecting a thank you, instead she said "Sorry." I took her sorry and gave her a hug. I have never told her to shut up, no one has. She picked it up because I tell all barking dogs to shut up. Guess I really need to work on telling them to hush or be quiet instead. Im in the process of teaching her to answer questions like what her name is (which she knows, just doesnt always say it when someone asks), how old she is, where she lives. You know, that useful information in case she gets lost in our big town. Lol I really need to make time to let her play on her trike too. She should know how to ride it by now but doesnt because she never gets to.. Hmmm anything else?? We havent had any accidents in a few days (knock on wood)
Garrett- He is defiantly working on the terrible 2s already! When he gets mad, he will throw his self down on the floor, kicking and screaming and rolling around. I am so over it already! He loves his cars and trucks and if he sees a picture of anything that resembles a vehicle he goes "Vroom Vroom" He is for sure his daddy's clone. Cant wait till he is old enough to send him into the garage with Logan all day long. He is finally starting to say a few words here and there, or least what sounds more like words. Hi, Bye, Da (dad) and maybe a couple of others. Im not worried about it though because Ellie wasnt saying much at this age either. He does know things like "Get the ball", "lay down", "sit down". He is eating pretty good and loves fruit. I took away the bottle and he is now taking his milk in a Nuk sippy cup. One with the soft silicone spout. He is still sleeping very good though sometimes he fights going to sleep. I can hear him in his bed crying but eventually he gives in and goes to sleep and sleeps about 12 hours. Man, I wish I got 12 hours of sleep! Think thats all for the little man for now.. Im sure Im forgetting something, but Im just to tired to think right now..
Hope everyone has a great week!

Logan's Bathroom
(Let me start by describing our bathrooms layout. The first side has a toilet, sink, mirror and the bathroom closet. This side is mine, the kids & guests bathroom. In the middle is the bath tub/shower, then behind the next door is another toilet, sink, mirror, counter top. This side is off the master bedroom and is Logan's side of the bathroom. )
So Ive been working on plans for Logan's bathroom. I've figured most of it out and hopefully will get supplied on the 29th when I go into town for my 24 week OB appointment and Garrett's 18 mo appointment.
I created a picture of stuff that I've compiled together, kinda like that new website Pintrest
Alright, for those who do not know, Logan is a diesel mechanic in the copper mine here. He works on huge trucks and equipment. He has voiced to me in the past that he would like his bathroom done in the Caterpillar equipment theme. However, I cannot find anything premade, so will have to get creative and do it all on my own. Here's what I've come up with.
In the middle of the picture are the colors I've thinking of using. Painting the lower half of the bathroom the yellow (Marigold in Behr for those who are interested) Then taking off a band around the top of the yellow a few inches and paint that the black (Which is Black Suede).
At the top right is some square shelves that would be placed above the toilet. Im not sure if I like these or if I would rather use just a piece of wood painted in black with silver brackets. However, if I was to use the square ones, I could put inside toy replicas of some of the equipment he works on. Like the big haul truck in the left corner and the little dozer in the middle right. I could also buy some cheep tools (if I can find some cheap tools) to place on the tops or inside of the shelves.
I can find a few Cat or Caterpillar sticker/decals on the web in different sizes, I may get one to put over the top of the bathroom door. HAHAHAHA I just got an idea, I could get a custom sticker made that says "Dumping Zone" and put it above the shelves, above the toilet or maybe just above a door. That would be funny.
I may also try to find a calender to go in there
Wow, there is just so much I can do. Amazon has loads of books about the equipment, I could buy a couple to put in there. Men like to have things to look at while in the "Dumping Zone". Also there is a floor mat that would be cool in front of the sink.
There is just so much I could do down the line, but for now I am going to stick with the painting, shelves, toys & tools.
Is it weird that I am excited about doing Logan's bathroom first? I wish I could have it done today for his Father's day surprise but its not going to happen. I however am not going to mention any of it to him and that way he will be super surprised when he comes home from work to see it. (Next weekend maybe?) Of course, there will be before pictures, during pictures and finishing pictures.
\Oh another idea.. Maybe I could get him to get pictures of himself standing by some of the equipment and then have them printed out and put those up in the bathroom too.
Here is a picture of a haul truck with a regular vehicle next to it. You can see just how big the equipment he works on are.
Ok, I think you got the idea of what Im wanting to do in his bathroom. I really hope I get to do this. I hate how unpersonalized our house is. Its time to make this house a home..
