While down at my parents house, we decided to go ahead and do an Easter hunt with them. This year, like last, we also decided not to do any boiled eggs.. Just plastic, candy filled goodness..
My mom made (with her mad skills) covers for ice cream buckets to make them into Easter buckets and they worked out great!! She (and Dad) also bought the kids some candy and a toy or two. (My kids are spoiled while we are there by them and my self)
They got their buckets first and then went outside to find the eggs. I love it that Blaine is finally old enough to walk around and look for the eggs him self. He really did have fun as did Ellie & Garrett.. And to my surprise, Ellie was actually helping Garrett (or telling to give her the cupcake eggs and letting him have the others)
After the hunt, we all went back inside and sat down to open all the eggs (and I gathered the candy up for my self.....well not all of it)
